THE PEACE of CHRIST by Hector Perez

The peace of Christ rules my heart, An inner serenity that the storms of life can never part. In times of trouble or darkest nights, Christ’s abiding peace pervades like heavenly light. When afflictions come, and fears abound, The peace of Christ keeps me on solid ground. It's the peace of Christ that frees my heart from all distress, And brings my soul enduring rest. The peace of Christ is a gift of love from His heart of grace, My temporal sufferings subside as I’m held together by His embrace. I'll let the peace of Christ rule my heart, For it's the secret source of tranquility in a world that's falling apart. CHRIST'S INSEPARABLE LOVE

Have you ever felt unloved by God or others because of your imperfections or mistakes? What if I were to tell you that there is a love where the worst of you can come out, and you would be loved more, not less?  Please take 2 minutes to read this poem I wrote about “Christ’s Inseparable Love.” Christ's inseparable love upon the cross was perfectly expressed, For imperfect people like me, who felt unloved in a pit of dire distress. On a cross of agony, His inseparable love poured out like a fountain, To unworthy transgressors who crucified the Savior on Calvary's mountain. Christ's inseparable love is unlike any other, A greater love than that of a mother’s. His love is limitless, and strong, Even when the devil tells me I'm unworthy for doing wrong. Now I know, that nothing can ever separate me from Christ's everlasting love, Which God dispenses from heaven above. His inseparable love casts out all my fears to remind me. SCARS

Engraved in His hands, are the SCARS of cruel nails, Marks of great suffering to remind you that salvation did prevail. The brutal  SCARS   of Jesus, oh, how they tell, The story of His unfailing love that no one can dispel. His side was pierced and  SCARRED  by a spear of death, A disfigured and beaten body that gasped its final breath. The blood and water that poured out from the gash, Was His heart bursting with sacred love which forever will last! When the triggers of bitter  SCARS  hit you hard, Listen to the voice of Jesus saying,  "For you, I was MARRED ." Your  SCARS  which are m emories of agonizing pain, Never are forgotten by Jesus nor suffered in vain. The  SCARS  of your past no longer need to be concealed,  For by the wounds of Jesus, you are healed! The LORD will use your  SCARS  of painful affliction, To help SCARRED souls who need CHRIST'S HEALING LOVE that came through His crucifixion!

In your journey of faith  that you tread each day, Model the faith of Abraham who heeded Adonai's  way. Trust in the LORD without doubt or disbelief, For the Most High God is your Sovereign Chief. Walk by faith, not by sight, to see the invisible, For it's impossible to please God if you rely on what's visible. Be bold and courageous to imitate the faith of David,  Who was undaunted by Goliath's noisy threats that faded.  Take your sling and fling God's stone of mighty power , Which annihilates every spear the devil fires to devour. Jesus, You are my hope and Savior true, I turn to You when I'm feeling blue. You infuse me with strength when I feel weak, And fill me with assurance when my world looks bleak. Jesus, You are my hope and anchor sure, In You alone, my soul feels safe and secure. No matter what tribulations this world may bring, I am never hopeless, my Sovereign ruling King! Jesus, You are my hope and guiding light, In Your presence, You make all things bright. Jesus, my hope of glory, I trust in You today, And promise to follow You, come what may. The source of this poem is found in Colossians 1:27&28 "The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY."
