HEALING THROUGH HIS SCARS

Engraved upon His hands remain the SCARS of cruel nails,
Foretold imprints of suffering that proclaim salvation’s tale.
The
SCARRED hands of Jesus speak when human language fails—
Of His unfailing love, through which your hope forever prevails.

SCARRED beyond recognition, as He breathed His final breath,
A soldier’s spear pierced His side, confirming His death.
Then blood and water flowed from His spear-torn side,
Proclaiming salvation's victory, which forever shall abide.

When triggers of past SCARS hit you hard,
Listen for the voice of Jesus Christ: “For you, I was marred.”
Though your
SCARS bear memories of agonizing pain,
Jesus reminds you, "Y
our suffering is never in vain."

The SCARS of your past or present need not be concealed,
For by Jesus' wounds, you will be healed!
The Savior knows your every SCAR of painful affliction;
His healing love makes you new forever through His resurrection!

"But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities;
Upon Him was the punishment that brought us peace, and
THROUGH HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED." Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24
