THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT by Hector Perez

Take up the sword of the Spirit, heaven's weapon of might,
God's Word of truth, empowers you to fight the good fight,
Remember that the gates of hell shall not prevail,
So hold on to the sword of the Spirit that will never fail.

Take up the sword of the Spirit, blazing with hope,
Silencing the enemy's fallacies to help you cope,
Gleaming with God's love, and grace divine,
Piercing the darkness so your faith can shine.

Take up the sword of the Spirit, crafted with divine care,
A sacred force so mighty and rare,
Use it wisely to slay acts of injustice,
Courageously standing for Christ and His righteous justice.

Stand firm, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Ephesians 6:14a,17b

From a baby until now, you are my precious shining star, Who delights my heart from afar. Your smile, so bright fills my heart aglow, For I've seen how you prevailed through the many highs and frequent lows. You've suffered as a youth with so much pain, But always remember my precious princess that your suffering is not in vain. Just as the sun rises day after day, Embrace the truth that God is present at your side to give you a steadfast heart that is not frayed.
